Privacy Policy
The full policy is being finalised. Rather than publish placeholder text, here is what is true of the service today.
Cookies. By default Tyrum sets two kinds of cookie on this site and the product cannot work without either: the one that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one that guards a sign-in while it is happening. The signed-in cookie is encrypted, it is read only by our own servers, and unless you accept all cookies it lasts until you close your browser rather than being kept for months. The sign-in guard is deleted as soon as you land back here, and expires by itself within ten minutes either way. Signing in also takes you through the service that checks who you are, and that service sets its own cookies on its own site.
Staying signed in. This is the one thing accepting all cookies changes, and it is the reason you are asked at all. Choose essential only — or answer nothing — and the signed-in cookie is dropped when you close your browser. Accept all and it is kept for up to 7 days from the sign-in that follows, on that device only, and a second small cookie is set to record the moment it runs out. That second one holds nothing else, and it expires at exactly that moment. Using the service extends neither, changing back to essential only takes the second one away and returns the first to ending with your browser the next time your sign-in refreshes, and signing out removes both at once.
Your answer, and changing it. The bar that asks records your answer in one more small cookie: which categories you accepted, the version of the question you were answering, and nothing else. It is kept for six months, after which you are asked again. You can change your answer here at any time, and refusing is one click, exactly as accepting is.
Your cookie choice
Changing to essential only stops your sign-in being kept from the next time it refreshes; signing out ends it at once.
Your language. Choosing a language in Settings sets one more small cookie, which holds that choice and nothing else. It is set only when you choose, and clearing it puts Tyrum back to following your browser.
Unsent drafts. Tyrum saves text you type in this browser so it can return after a reload or when you sign in again. Each draft belongs to one conversation and is restored only for the same account. It stays on this device until your message is successfully sent, you empty all unsent text, you clear this site's browser data, or you open that draft while signed in to a different account. Signing out does not remove drafts. If your browser refuses storage, your draft lasts only while this page remains open.
There is no analytics, advertising or measurement cookie of any kind on this site, and no dependency in this app that could set one. The analytics category on the bar is named because it is planned and has nothing behind it yet: accepting it today switches nothing on, and if that ever changes you will be asked again rather than held to an answer you gave about nothing.
Your conversations. What you send is processed to run your agent and is stored so your chats are there when you come back. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone who is not required to deliver the service.
Model and tool providers. Under the standard policy, model and tool providers process the data needed for their part of the service. Their retention terms can differ by provider, feature and account agreement. There is no single retention period for all service and provider records. Safety reviews and legal obligations may also affect how long records are kept.
